Excited to be performing my Shadows of Corinth song cycle at The Cell. We’re recording Shadows of Corinth at The College of Saint Rose in their William Randolph Hearst Center for Communications and Interactive Media! Ear to Mind’s First Annual New Music Forum! Complimentary wine will be served throughout, and the discussion itself will happen from about 1:30-2:30pm. NYC-based German composer Reiko Fueting will be moderating and the board of panelists will include: Chris Cerrone, Kevin Clark, Vivian Fung, Ted Hearne, Inhyun Kim, Wil Smith, and myself. Admission is free!

I’m excited to be performing a new piece called The Maid of Corinth on the opening night of Kathy Supové’s Music With a View series. The piece is a multimedia work with video by Anney Bonney and includes the wonderful Dither electric guitar quartet as well as one of my favorite drummers, Ches Smith.

Kathy Supové will be performing two of my piano compositions; Lucid (solo piano), and Our Mingling Arms (the first piece I wrote for her). Kamala Sankaram and Lesley Flanigan will perform a set of songs I wrote based on Psalms. Finally, I’ll be performing a new excerpt from my video opera called The Maid of Corinth, with video by Anney Bonney, libretto by Sara Wintz, and including performances by Kamala Sankaram, Lesley Flanigan, Eric Clark, James Moore, Joshua Lopes, and Ches Smith.n

Finally, White Lime Records introduces the Modern Dance Awareness Society (11pm) who will keep the party moving into the early morning hours.
